Most times I have who is proposing being familiar with the location. However, that is not always the case. I take the time to arrive way earlier to the location you have chosen to give you any updates of what is happening in the surroundings and if we are good to go.


2. Plan the Timing: Timing is key. Golden hour—the hour before sunset—provides a magical light for photographs, however, any time can be good time. This is also a time when the winery may be quieter, allowing for a more intimate moment.


3. Personal Touches: Add personal elements to your proposal. This could include bringing a favorite bottle of wine, incorporating a special playlist, or even setting up a small picnic with favorite snacks to share after the proposal.

After the proposal, take time to enjoy the winery. We had our engagement photoshoot at the beautiful surroundings of the winery and enjoyed the amazing fall weather we had. As the photoshoot is taking place they got to be playful and romantic with each other allowing me to see more layers of the love they have for each other. You can also indulge in a wine tasting, or share a meal at the winery’s restaurant. This allows you both to bask in the glow of your engagement while making even more memories together.
